ABOUT THE ARTIST
Faizan Ahmad is a visual storyteller based in Lahore, working across photography, writing, and creative direction. His first book, Lahore by Metro, documents five years of conversations with fellow Metro passengers. Self-published through Kickstarter, it was featured by CNN, The British Journal of Photography, and praised by Mohsin Hamid, Salima Hashmi, and Reza Deghati. He later edited Mawakhat, stories from Pakistan's 2022 floods about loss, rebuilding, and ordinary grace. His journalism has appeared in The Guardian, BBC Urdu, and The Express Tribune. He continues to make new work in Lahore, searching for the fragile moments that hold a city together.
